Experience Prototype
The experience prototype consists on a board coded to work as a MIDI interface. After solder the board to different sensors, I wrote a code to be able to control any MIDI parameter moving the board.
Attached to any instrument, this prototype will change the mapped parameters without need to release the hands from the instrument and stop playing.
WORKING TECH PROTOTYPE
As the experience prototype was a MIDI interface, it would only work while performing live with DAW software. As many of guitarist still preferring analogue performances and the use of analogue pedal effects, I decided to design the next generation of the Iconic Cry Baby pedal. I turned my project into a gesture Wah Wah pedal.
Therefore, I designed and built an embedded analogue prototype. The circuit affects the analogue audio signal, producing the same effect without need to perform with a laptop.
