HOMED NOMAD

Commissioned by Haunted Machines, this team project was developed to be exhibited as part of Histories and Myths of the 21st Century Home Festival, at London's Design Museum

The project explores through design how our idead of Home is increasingly becoming a state of mind rather than a physical space. From a Speculative/Critical perspective, Homed Nomad analyses how modern city growing patterns, like gentrification, might force certain sectors of big cities' population to adopt a nomadic lifestyle - a lifestyle that would be justified and normalised by marketing and branding techniques, some of them already present in our present times.

Home Nomad consists in the design of four products for this speculative future, the critical video and a critical lecture at the Design Museum auditorium space.

Project exhibited in March 2019 at The Design Museum, London.
